Let's assume Tony Abbott will see off little Billy, or rather, little Billy exits the scene due to his own (allegedly) corrupt activities whilst a union thug!

Who do we have left in the Labor circus?

To my mind the spitting Albo is probably the main contender as he won the rank and file ballot previously.

Pliber may be a slim chance but would be despised thanks to her own poor character and that of the infamous previous woman PM.

    Burke? No chance.

Bowen? Not much of a chance as he has shown to blindly follow Labor's socialist bent and has been absolutely incompetent in any portfolio.

Can't think of anyone else with any required experience or intelligence.

So, that leaves Tony Abbott, with or without little Billy as Opposition leader, a clear winner at the next election AND beyond.

The defunct Labor rabble will be in the wilderness for a long time yet.

The next step is to develop if possible, a rational Senate, once they realise that Tony and his adult team will be in office for a long time to come.
