You are on the money, so how would the $2 offer play out with light speed as a substantial holder, there is a possibility that there is a 'change in substantial holding' announcement to follow the 6% fall today..
It seems it has been a good week for shorters to play hard and make some good dollars. (At our expense, thank you).. Maybe they have some positions to close tomorrow, hopefully..
It also occurs to me that light speed being the company that it is would come in, once they have declared insolvency.. Then, having done their research would come in and make the company what it could be.. They may have the advantage of the illusive India coming online (as has been predicted many times, but hasn't happened yet). But if they could do it, as I get the feeling they could, then why can't existing management. It may be as simple as communication as you have mentioned..
Tomorrow may tell.. All IMO..
