    in the case of VPG there has been a huge loss from June2008- June 2009

    Trading range for VPG in June 2008 67c- $1.02

    so even though there may not be capital gains to offset this year..in the case of Valad there is a huge loss that can be realised and carried forward if needs be........

    furthermore, investors will want to buy back at some stage.
