News for Today (AEST)
The XJO closed higher on Tuesday, where spread remained average, volume increased a little, and the close was off the daily high.
Momentum initially carried price higher, however the midbar close suggests some supply was drawn out as the Index moved towards the highs of the trading range. Price also had the opportunity to close in a potentially bullish position (above the high of last Friday's widespread downbar), but eventually closed back within last Friday's range, which does not offer much confidence price will attempt to breakout.
FWIW, I continue to hold a bullish bias, and see this last dip as an unexpected opportunity that presented itself, and was taken.
