I think it's very unlikely that we will be able to participate in the money raise that accompanies the uplisting. Probably will just be one or more institutions like the raise last spring we did with Perceptive Advisors.
Are there any AVR options currently traded on the ASX? I looked but can't find any. I'm not talking about options issued by the company but publicly traded options contracts.
When get on the Nasdaq we will have the opportunity at some point to buy or sell publicly traded options. Those options aren't issued by the company but instead are issued by the Options Clearing Corporation, which is an independent organization that issues options to allow traders to create contracts between each other. The downside is that if we are a lower volume Nasdaq stock the furthest expiration date offered will probably be 6 months, which would be more for swing traders than long-term investors. I'd love to buy some calls that expire in 2026 if we are on the Nasdaq next spring but I doubt an expiration date that far in advance will be offered.
