I was thinking along the same lines -

The minimum price for the asset was set at $79.5 mill and Roman Copper Co paid $250 mill AU (thanks for the conversion Dogboy1).

They must be crazy because big money is needed to get this project up to scratch.

Another worrying thing is i googled The Roman Copper Co of Canada and came up with zilch.

I am wondering if it was just a $1 shelf company set up with the sole purpose of purchasing Cuprumin Abrud.

Also look at the first word "Roman" (Romania) -

Is it a dodgey Romanian co. who will fall over when the funds need to be stumped up.

Or is it a legit company working under the wings of a bigger concern .
