A bit off topic but I noticed the Hangseng traded into a positive close and was surprised. The trade neg news then transpired into the NY session so using my conspiratorial mindset, could the Chinese traders got wind of this news before anyone else?

I suspect the 'powers that be' is in fact making sure price will not fall below SPP level. How it goes about doing this legally I am not privy to. We have another 3 weeks of price meeting buyers and sellers to gauge before the SPP closes so the price action so far is very encouraging.

On face value there seems to be some discrepancies between the +ve & -ve;

Delay of DFS
Massive uptake in Insto CR at the shortest possible time
SPP offered
Price consistently trading above SPP

My most intriguing observation and I was commenting as it happened at the time in late Feb that I suspected the prior swing low was where the smart money was attacking the stops. The attacked a slightly lower one [$1.14] then a few days later the CR/SPP came out at $1.15. Too much of a coincidence to me! Maybe there are shadows jumping out at me.....
