Go back and check the share price action before Pengxin came onboard. Don’t have time to get the chart and announcement but it was a strong run in the weeks prior. Price came right up to meet Pengxin’s buy-in price before the announcement was made.
Part and parcel of trading on the ASX I’m afraid. Doesn’t mean CLQ has done anything wrong, the leak could be anywhere but obviously people with the wherewithal to move the price.
I suppose it’s one of the advantages of holding long term, you don’t have to worry about the games that are played day in and day out. It does make our job a lot harder though.
