No search warrant required. It is a condition of entry/exit to or from a country. You have a right to refuse, however you will most likely, not be allowed to cross the border. The border at an airport starts at the gate into the customs area. Once you cross it, customs have a lot of control over people. If you refuse a search of your possessions they can refer you to the police who would get a warrant. They will never just wave you through if you make a fuss or refuse a search. Customs officers do not need to have suspicions or reason to search you. They often search laptops and other devices, but this is done out of sight of the public view.

The right to search possessions is an absolute right. They don't need to get a warrant. Where an individual refuses a body search the matter is referred to a court officer to determine whether or not they have reasonable grounds.
