I'd be careful, the world might yet reign in the demand curve faster than supply tightens. Might be better betting on gas longterm.
Oil contributes about 30 billion tpa to global CO2, it can't be ignored in the GHG context. Sure automotive use will grow, but more efficient vehicles will mitigate, as will use of gas, and further fuel switching in the stationery sector.
One decent breakthrough in batteries....
Of course ITC will likely have run out of oil long before the current vehicle fleet is replaced.
