Sorry. Didn't mean to offend. Just what happened in our neighbourhood.
If it's any consolation we did get water in the ceiling during the storm on our tiled roof. But the same would have happened on a tin one too. The hail made a dam in a valley, and then the rain backed up in the dam and flowed under the tiles and down the sarking to where a sloppy sparkie had left a hole in it, down onto the ceiling.
