You only have to look at it's history... does anyone else know of a gold mining company that to my knowledge never mined an ounce of gold all of a sudden becoming a bio tech company??
There were heaps of mining companies that turned to tech in the tech boom. It's just back-dooring into an ASX shell as it's much cheaper and easier to do and doesn't have the restrictions registering to the ASX in the standard way. So no it's not something unique.
