That was my share Sydney - Wednesday - Nov 16: (RWE Australian Business News) - Great Artesian Oil and Gas Ltd (ASX: GOG) reports testing of the Kiana-1 oil and gas discovery well has resulted in production of Great Artesian's first crude oil. The first shipment of 64,700 litres of crude oil (about 407 barrels) was up-loaded into tanker trucks and sent to Moomba for refining and transportation to market on 14 November. This crude is being produced during testing undertaken by Beach Petroleum Ltd as operator for the joint venture which comprises Beach (40%), Great Artesian (30%) and Magellan Petroleum Australia Ltd (30%). Production testing of Kiana-1 over the zone across which DST #4 was conducted in the Patchawarra Formation commenced on 12 November and is expected to take between one and two weeks to complete.
