Re the crushing and processing by RIO.

Rossing Mine.
At this point in time. The present grades are running out fast, in the existing pit, therefore,

Phase two expansion will be a 300 m pushback on the southern side of the pit. The pushback will extend the mine's life until 2016.

There will be a gradual return to full production and the annual tonnage mined would more than double to around 55 Mt.

The primary crusher station has a capacity of 60 000 tonnes a day.

And, in the mean time, the crusher and processing requires to be feed.
