Just for interests sake and maybe best on the general thread but:
Dow Jones on a current PE of 14-15,
S&P 15-16,
NASDAQ 35-36,
FTSE 14-15,
DAX 13-14,
NIKKEI 225 17-18,
HANG SENG 12-13,
ASX 200 17-18,
NZX 50 (For what its worth) 27-28.
So how far are we off the rest of the world? - based on a market PE we're priced pretty well right now and its no wonder the 5000 point mark is a tough ask.
