    Are things as clear cut as yo'all make out? Are weddings ALWAYS private?

    What if Jooles chose to wed the first bloke, could every pollie decline their invitations on the grounds that attending would not be work related? If this were so for a lib back-bencher why would it be different for her minsters?

    Personally, I reckon Tony could have thought of a dozen things he would prefer to do than attend fellow members' weddings, especially Slipper's, but he went. Justifiable travel claim? I think so.
