DDR's gearing is 70%.
this is why they ask for a trading halt when they announced seperation assets with DDr. Seperated with DDR make Mdt easier to get refince or assets sale.
Market may bottomed as most people believe in. so If Mdt sell the assets at a discount rate at 70% to its current book value. the unit holders may get 25c/unit.
The DDR's shareholders are scheduled to vote next week on the purchase of 30 million shares by German real estate executive Alexander Otto and his family. The vote would enable the Ottos to own nearly 30 percent of the company.

I guess the bidders will queue for the Mdt when the market conditions stablized..
