I never said it would replace Uranium.....which is also becoming much safer
with all the advanced new technology...
Whats the difference to changing my wording isn't it meaning all the same.
Yes it's new and yes the aim it to replace Coal Fired power in many places like india and China....but is also has uses in SMR's for smaller communities etc. Why wouldn't China continue to build Nuclear Power Plants. I dont think they would be building traditional ones but using the latest technology...
They have a 2050 target to meet and millions of people. Not forgetting their Nuclear Subs etc...who knows what they are developing...
Uranium was developed because Thorium is non fissile however as we know it is much more powerful than uranium as an energy source and more abundant......they are generally found together in the ground....
My only point is Greenland and the opportunity it has right now in developing a Mining Industry particularly Rare Earth with "By Product" that will all be in increasing demand as the world goes green....
This is their opportunity to solve many issues that are currently plaguing Greenland now.....
