but Westpac as of July has now admitted another 500k breaches of austrac and will now face a greater fine than the cheeky previous billion dollar fine they basically had to do a raising for to cover the costs of. Will they need to do another raise to cover the new fine, will they find more instances of breaches? They haven’t admitted the breaches of the issues to this point, nor have they been able to confirm they have rectified the procedures in place? Questions really could be asked why are they still trading. You can’t have one set of rules for one member of the team and different rules for another. Kinda stinks really.
