ASIC investigations do take some time, I agree, however ASIC does not disclose details of investigations, in order to not tarnish the reputation of companies without sufficient justification.
At the initial suspension, ASX chose to circumvent this protection, without any proof or evidence. This action was highly unusual, and to me, seemed designed to tarnish the reputation of ISX without any evidence.

I would not be surprised if most/all of these ASIC investigations were initiated by ASX.
