    There would be an expected defective rate, typically 1 to 3% which you could exchange for a new one once checked and acknowledged as defective and not water or physical damage by user. Think mobile phones tablets and other drones at retailers these repair and exchange and or refund processes are needed for all consumer electronics. However if there is a higher % of faulty units it raises the risk of a recall and or claims under whatever warranty and consumer guarantee legislation in each country. Australia is quite tough dunno about usa.

    Worrying number of reviews highlighing issues of control issues. App? Physical design? Faulty components?

    I dont know. But another area where iot simply lacks scale of say a dji. Look what happened with go pro and their karma drone recall and are a us1b company. They are costly if they occur.

    IMO only. Hard to tell from reviews what the situation actually is for ROVA and iot DYOR.
