I can see where you're coming from here - but LW isn't the kind of guy to ease up because he might cark it in a few years.If you look at his property pipeline - there are projects not set for completion almost 15 years down the track. All worth much more than he stands to make from neu.
However - I just can't see how Acadia are going to play this without some attempt at integration. Perhaps a cash and script offer - which will allow his ego to be stroked having ownership & enjoying the financial spoils once Trof hits the market.
The other scenario I keep playing out in my head is a moderate cash payment for ROW, that includes again a first option to negotiate for bringing to market - Fragile X, 2591 etc.
