Even if the lower zones in JF-1 are highly hydrocarbon saturated, getting the hole down and through them is only half the battle..!!

Just a commercial success level is not good enough.!
Nothing short of maxium completion capacity of JF-1 will suffice.!
The reason being, is that any sustained share price appreciation, that will benefit us shareholders, will come from the development of the entire " Rowena Project".

If we assume that the field is good, then it's JF-1 that's laying the groundwork for field development,, so it's vital that the company employs every technical system that can advantage the outcome..!

We need to be patient people,,,Time is not what's important here..!!

Given the weight of drilling mud required to control the over pressured environment,,, and the porous nature of the sandstone intervals,,, it's not at all surprising to have near well bore damage to the reservoir structure, caused by drilling fluids..!!
There is a strong possibility that every interval will have suffered similar damage..!!

Technical problems have technical solutions,,,, and the intended use of the "Stim Gun" system, tells me that these lads are on top of their game.

The Stim Gun perforates the well bore casing,,the cement seal behind that,,and fractures the sandstone reservoir structure, all in the one operational event.
It's a pre frac, if you like,, but with two distinct advantages..!!

Standard fracture treatments are hydrolic, which of course involves the use of fluids.!
The first advantage of the Stim, is that it's completely dry,,, and therefore eliminates any compounding of damage, caused by drilling fluids..!!

It can cut sizeable fractures through the damaged section, and gain direct access to the undamaged reservoir behind..!!
Because it's a dry cut,,, the second advantage occurs if there is gas in the reservoir.!
The gas will begin to flow into the well bore,, bringing with it any damaged loose particles which have the potential to clog or block future sand screens..!!

After the " Stim Gun system" has been effected,,, a standard hydrolic fracture can be applied,,, and travels through the pre-existing fractures made by the Stim,, giving direct fracing access to the undamaged sections of the Reservior sandstone..!!

The " Stim" is a very high tec directional explosive assembly,,, containing an additional sleeve of propellant, that is designed to ignite and burn with consistancy.!

The shock wave from the explosive charges, instantly ignites the propellant,, which burns with such ferosity,, that it generates huge volumes of gas under extreme pressure..!!
It's nothing else but high pressure jets of dry gas that does the cutting of fractures through the damaged reservoir..!!

Believe it or not,,,,,,This instantaneous gas release,, has been known to cut fractures through " hard rock",,, which extend out 6ft from the well bore..!!
They are working in porous sandstone here,,,so they should be able to blow through this damage,, and half way to China..!!!!!

In the bottom 580ft of well bore, we have 4 reservoir intersections , with a total of 75ft of contact to be perforated and tested.
They are planning only three tests, so two zones must either be very close together or logs have indicated they are interconnected.

I remind people of the secondary target also at Queen City,, approximately 8600ft, which continuously circulated gas from the well bore, and showed gas levels of 6000 units..!!
This level is well above and before the onset of the overpressure zone,, which does'nt begin until 10,000ft..so Queen City is highly prospective also..!!

For what it's worth,,, my opinion is that our chances are good,,, well and truely in our favour..!!

The lads are onto it,,,,,,They're out there doing it correctly,, and that's what counts...!!!!

    Cheers..!!
