Inflation is a result of low interest rates and excessive money printing. Who do you think caused this inflationary spiral which by the way is running at about 15% not the CPI figure. This MMT has also caused asset prices to skyrocket which has caused the Dow and S&P to be totally overvalued. It's now starting to revert to the mean and POG probs won't go up significantly until the S&P dips more and the FED flips and stops raising rates probably prior to the mid term elections. Just my opinion. I expect to see a flurry of M&A.
