That's right. Unfortunately many retail investors are not aware that starting a gold mine often takes 10 years and Rox is actually doing very well.
This misunderstanding of the real timeline is part of the retail disinterest in Rox and the low share price. It's one of the reasons why Rox want more insto investors.
Here ls a summary of progress:
Scoping Study this month or very early in July.
MRE in Q3
DFS in Q4 (hopefully)
World class cornerstone investor on board. Hawke's Point has brought not just funding but technical excellence to Rox.
Being the scenes, they have literally transformed Rox to give the company the support to become a major gold producer just as they did with Capricorn.
Rox and Hawke's Point are doing the ground work with instos to ensure they can get Capex funding once they produce a positive DFS.
Likely the Scoping Study will help to clarify the progress Rox has made. It will differentiate Rox from other juniors heading for production (and competing for finance) by way of a side by side comparison of key metrics.
