I expect the NPV (@ $AUD 3,000 POG) to be somewhere between $600m and $700m. Given that there is existing infrastructure, little or no permitting issues and a very short project payback period, the high NPV is certainly going to open up some interest in the asset from cashed up producers or investors.
The gold gurus are all pretty bullish on the POG hitting $US 2,500 this year. When the market realises that we have a sustainably high gold price the advanced gold projects are not going to be trading at a mere fraction of their NPV valuations.
