hindsight is such a wonderful thing.... there you are with all the facts and figures...after the event....
even I have been guilty of 'jumping the gun'...
none of us can predict the outcome, when nature is involved, and humans have to make a judgement call...before the event...
lets all take a rain check.....on looking for someone to blame....at least regarding the dam....
I think the others who allowed buildings on flood plains...should take some responsibility.... but not be tarred and feathered
I can see their excuses......but global warming was wiping out the rain and floods....it was never going to happen... even all of the state govnuts, got caught up in that rubbish... maybe we could get tom flannery to pay back some of that money he reaped from the gullible...and continues to make from his erronous advice....
ps....I suggest you all check your flood insurance, cause we will have more floods in years to come....oh and la nina is expected to hang around until autumn....so it may come sooner than you think
