Sydney auction last week.(Sutherland shire) House bought for 715k 3.5 years ago.45k spent on renovations in that time. Sold at auction for 715k.The house had 2 bidders (i wont go into details with that) Bidding started at 685k.I dont know the buying costs/mortgage costs over that 3yr period as i dont know. I know the bulls are sick of hearing "my friend etc sold at etc" but im just posting a legitamite sale of my friends house. He was very lucky to only make a 45k plus buying/mortgage costs loss. On a brighter note, i hand in the keys to the RE agent tomorrow for my apartment i sold 8 weeks ago and am debt free.
