The greens are corrupt,Labour is corrupt, the Liberals are corrupt. We may bag Tazmazia, but it is a micro of what has and is happening on the Australian mainland---the stench of political interference, sell out of investors and farmers and the timber contractors is breath taking.the bs of a fair go in this country is really code for dog eat dog.As said before about corrupt at least Tasmania jaile one of their Premiers several years ago. This time it needs to spread to the mainland.
MAYBE A CLASS ACTION OF PRIVATE CONCERNED CITIZENS IS NEEDED?
Lara Giddings squirmed when Kim Booth asked a question in the Parliament yesterday about her Government’s knowledge of Gunns Ltd insolvency.
Premier Giddings and her forests minister Bryan Green knew full-well the desperate financial state of Gunns Ltd. To suggest - as her Government did yesterday - that she needed time to review her knowledge of the timelines regarding when she became aware of Gunns’ insolvence was just cute but deceptive politics.
Even the administrator/liquidator PPB Advisory semaphores the likelihood that Gunns Board members may be held accountable for late disclosure of market sensitive information on the company’s insolvency.
Further questions to now ask are:
1. Was Prime Minister Gillard also aware of Gunns Ltd insolvency when she handed over $34.5 million of Commonwealth funds to keep the corpse of Gunns Ltd and Forestry Tasmania on life support for another year?
2. What did the two Greens cabinet Ministers - Cassy O’Connor and Nick McKim - know about the insolvency of Gunns Ltd? If they knew and why they didn’t blow this whistle on this deception?
3. When will the national corporate regulators investigate the activities of Gunns Ltd?
