Agree with whole board being responsible, but not sure you have an understanding on financial planning? What’s involved, service offerings and charges. I.e if a ongoing commission gets paid its usually for ongoing advice and annual reviews. An initial advice charge would t cover costs and hourly rates/fee for service is being charged. Your stereotyping a whole industry based on few rogue bank planners. I have friends that are planners and I can tell you they add a lot more value then accountants for example and charge less and accountants charge by the hour!
