How does insto's trading 1 single share affect the price ?
Well let me ask you.... Why do you think they are doing so many small parcells if there is no benifit to it ?
Why do they do HFT ?
Why do they mix the two ?
All because it gives them the edge that others do not have.
I believe HFT and small parcels transactions should be either banned, or heavily regullated....
The sharemarket is ANYTHING but a level playing field it is claimed to be by some
Should it be a level olaying field ? Well, IMHO, yes. Unles the HFT guys want to just play with themselves and their small parcells, it needs to be. Otherwise the ASX can go to hell for. Ost non HFT investors, the vulk of the Asx's customers who they are selling out on.
