Shorten if still leader of the opposition at the time of the next election could prove to be "The goose that lays the golden egg" for the LNP so far as re-election goes.
I'm sure labor strategists are aware of this.
With three straight weeks ahead featuring the CFMEU and then the reappearance of Shorten I see tough times ahead for labor.
