yeah I understand that, but generally speaking the average person who trades throughout their life isn't greatly affected by those things. Computerised trading produces just as many advantages to human traders as the other way around
For example computerised trading in the futures market causes bounces off major lines of support and it also will ensure trading turns when markets become toppy or they bottom out
Just look at the typical patterns that happen due to algo trading, dead cat bounces and the like
Surely there is just as much to be gained as their is to be lost?
