I wonder if AT, could have negotiated get a big royalty on each Tesla battery sold if Tesla wanted SDV lithium at operating cost (this can't be right given that Panasonic is responsible for supplying the materials for their battery, Panasonic would have been at the table not Tesla). I wonder though if AT is vying for a VW-battery supplier, as they are going to have to sign multiple contracts with battery providers to feed their EV ambitions. He seems fixated on VW, based on his last presentation. Who knows? Too many people want in.
