large saving in expense yes.
but no major transparent value inflection for shareholders and no transparent royalties scheme (how is this positive for shareholders other than reduced burn rate of cash in hand and focus management/BoD)
loss of opportunity for positive cashflow from a mature mannitol business particularly in US (US only just scratched the surface of potential sales)
