I like and respect Richard Russell because he shares the same philisophy as i... ie. enter a secular bull market, and rise it like there's no tommorow.
How do you identify secular bull/bear markets? --- You look at the BIG PICTURE.
Very few people in the market do this.
Look at Rivkin-- he has ZERO idea of the big picture. Most stock brokers/analysts.fund managers also have ZERO idea.
Even some other note worthy people such as Jim Sinclair have me doubting--- i vehemently disagree with his view on trading the gold bull market. I am also sceptical of his reasoning for trying to continuously time short term moves in the spot market. There's no advantage in doing this, imho, it only leads to one to think in the short term too much. ie. it is an unnecssary distraction from the main goal -- staying with the bull.
RR's philosophy and reasoning is flawless imho, and i respect him for it.
