I'm assuming that this rumour is true for RRL to be mentioned by name.
Interesting that the comments from Mark Clark in 2017 I would have thought still apply - the deposit is probably a bit small for Regis. CMM have made good incremental derisking improvements in capex and mine life since April 2017 when Regis sold out (at 10c from memory) but it's not a markedly different project.
Regis also have a large project at McPhillamys to focus on constructing for the next 12-18 months and I don't think will want to be building two projects at once, so Karlawinda would be a long way from production.
Still for 25-30M RRL shares it is probably a good bottom drawer acquisition for Regis. Could also be some alternative form of construction financing.
