Bellevue Gold has boosted the resource for its namesake project in Western Australia, while touting the potential for continued growth (reports MiningNews).
he indicated resource is up 20% to 1.04 million ounces at 11.4 grams per tonne gold following recent infill drilling at the Deacon and Bellevue North lodes.
The overall resource now stands at 2.41Moz at 10gpt, up from 2.3Moz at 10gpt gold.
Today's update included a maiden resource for the Armand discovery, which was only discovered last month.
Armand is estimated to hold an indicated 200,000t at 15.4gpt for 100,000oz gold and an inferred 220,000t at 12gpt for 80,000oz.
New results from Armand include 8.3m at 32.1gpt gold from 358.5m; 6.5m at 23.4gpt gold from 384.8m; 5m at 15.4gpt gold from 360.2m; and 1.9m at 29.7gpt gold from 379.4m.
Armand remains open down-dip and up-plunge with further drilling aimed at continuing to increase and upgrade the resource.
The addition of Armand creates three independent mining areas between Armand, Deacon and Viago, which have a combined high-grade indicated resource of 1.15Mt at 15.2gpt gold for 560,000oz.
Bellevue reported yet another new discovery, Maceline, a 550m-long electromagnetic conductor north of Deacon North.
Early results include 2.6m at 14.7 grams per tonne gold from 454m; 25.9m at 4.3gpt gold from 478m, including 3.2m at 15.7gpt gold, 7.2m at 5.9gpt and 1.4m at 8.2gpt; 1.4m at 63.2gpt gold from 434.9m; 2.6m at 14.7gpt gold from 454m; 3.6m at 10.2gpt gold from 462.8m and 1.6m at 16.3gpt gold from 498.3m.
Bellevue head of corporate development Luke Gleeson told the Resources Rising Stars 2020 Investor Forum today that the past eight weeks had seen the company discover three new structures.
Today's resource update will feed into studies, which are due to be completed by the end of the March 2021 quarter.
