I've no idea, there's certainly been no hints given in any RNS's that I can see regarding timescales (though it's best to take RRL's timescales with a large pinch of salt in any case).

We don't even really have much of an idea as to what the money will be spent on exactly. Offshore Puntland, an increased stake in Trinidad, and a Columbia play have all been rumoured, but not confirmed by any means. That's why at this stage we're going to have to trust in the BoD.

There's quite a few issues I have with the style of management in this company (albeit it has been much improved in the last few months, with things more or less happening in the time they were supposed to) but deal-making isn't one of them. When we've had money to spend, PL has always got RRL a good deal, so I'm confident that whatever the money is planned for, it'll be a good acquisition. As to what the acquisition is though- your guess is as good as mine.
