Goldfarm, you are indeed correct (I've read the Macquarie report) and the downgrade (which also applied to most of the other Oz goldies they cover) was entirely due to a change in their view on the Oz gold price. Makes no sense to me (or to JW). The operative sentences in the report are:
"For RSG we note that we have re-cut our model to align with thecompany’s change in reporting currency from A$ to US$. This causes RSG’s earnings to fall a notional~30% across the board reflecting the conversion of our forward-looking estimates to US$ earnings."
Go figure.
