They are concerned the effects underground blasting will have on the houses and heritage listed buildings and government departments are assessing now. Are you aware the mine is 200 metres from the edge of town. Yes 200 metres not 2km not 20km, 200 metres. Do you realistically expect the mine will be able to start blasting underground 200 metres from town without huge objections and uproar from Residents and environmentalists especially now the government has engineers assessing the current building structures of the heritage listed buildings. I cant even be bothered going into the 150 or 200 million RSG stands to earn from the sale of Ravenswood. The Gold price needs to be above record highs and production needs to be over 500k ounces and even if all this was achieved, RSG does not see that money for 4 years.
