One thing sure that there will be consolidation in Gold Industry. It is pretty common practice during low cycle of any commodity. Also it suits to INSTO as they walk away with handsome margin rather fighting for pennies on daily trading basis. Several players are sitting in 200 to 500,oooOZ/year range, RSG, PRU, EVN, NST are few of them.

I am sure some of them will be either forced to join hand to become big or big fellow will swallow small ones.
One thing sure that there will be consolidation in Gold...
