I don't agree with your above statement.

1. There are day traders that don't hold over night and don't care about the JV.

2. There are also investors such as myself who believe in the story but still have the ability to buy and sell a % of holdings and buy lower in order to build of bigger position.

3. There are also investors that hold several hundred thousand and more that are taking some profit to rebalance their portfolio.

4. Then you have fear and greed. These people are the ones that can't handle a stock going against them and giving money back to the market. Its normal for these investors to miss the big moves.

5. Everyone has their own reasons for buying and selling, we will never understand what they are.
