Fortescue boss and largest shareholder andrew forrest was asking if the RSPT was on the mining only or the whole operation.
The iron ore business is really not much about mining but a bulk transport and logistics exercise.
Millions of tons or iron ore are transported by rail from the mine to a port many hundreds of ks away,If this component of the business is subject to the RSPT then why not airlines,shipping and transport companies.
