Hey Scholztrade,
It's because of your Upload speed. Typical residential Internet plans have an upload cap of 50KBps to 100KBps. If you know how to change your Speed profile via your ISPs website it could make a diff otherwise your stuck with the slow upload. YT will automatically process the video after the vid has completely uploaded so this will also take some time.
