But the MPSA is still a valid 25-year permit, and is material, in my opinion
In fact, compared to a 2-year Exploration Permit, I would rank the MLC renewal as more important,
specially in relation to EO 79 rules which specifically prohibit new mines
Based on the list, there was only 1 MLC renewal by DENR for the whole 2016
And quite a number of Exploration Permit renewals
In comparison, Exploration Permit renewals were not prohibited
And the Exploration Permit renewal was immediately followed by a $15M capital raising
Maybe in another setting, RTG would have disclosed it right away
Maybe an announcement, with a clarificatory statement (or a disclaimer) would have been in order?
Just my opinion.. It just sucks being the last to know
And I think we deserved to know this information at that time
