Thanks Juqu - I have done that and was aware of gold retail bar and coin shortage in USA etc., but this is the first instance I have heard of the Perth Mint not being able to supply gold on demand.
Silver is another story and that situation might have been corrected by now. I don't know because I haven't tried to buy physical silver or gold from them for quite a while.
I hope we can learn more of this report because, as Adwebster says, it is very interesting. Actually, it's startling.
