Those aren't just props, a lot have been sold into over the last few days. The number of insto bids playing around with depth on the buy side vs the number playing on the sell side is large. The sell side is static and stacked with retailers profiting from their allotment. LYC management have (unnecessarily, IMO) thrown the company into an artificial market, that is, a market that is dynamic independent of the fundamentals.
IMO, the sell stacks look set to fall up to 20c over the next few sessions. At 20c, then what? Maybe it is time to quit the Lynas roller-coaster once and for all, perhaps at least until the answer to the debt serviceability question becomes clearer.
