Training/ targeting or/and super charging the immune system to find and kill cancer is the future.
There are big and small bio's currently in I/ O combo trials with and without chemo.
When these combo (non- chemo) trials are proven to be as good or better (efficacy) than with chemo with less toxicity, then I/ O combos will become standard of care.
Quality of life should also improve during treatments without debilitating side effects of chemo.
