EXACTLY I feel that everyday things are moving back towards normality. We are extremely lucky to live in Australia. So far removed from all the countries doing it so hard with CoVid share prices around the world have been so volatile and in many cases disastrous. Afterpay was a huge bounce back MasterCard and Visa in the US could have made us all a heap of money March 23rd was the buy time and big profits are being made by those with the guts to back themselves.
Back to IMU - a quick bounce this week back to .30 and settle at .28 forecast tomorrow is positive back toward .30
I believe this confidence is just a little normality coming back into society. the announcement last week was not the catalyst but rather an endorsement of the position IMU have become with a heap of possible news to come.
If I were able to control announcements then I would not want ANY right now given CoVid-
problem is that the rules are when you have a price sensitive announcement you must announce immediately. perhaps the question is ? how long can you delay announcements in the case of IMU ? It would be very simple for a scientist under instruction to say "I need more time to analyse- we can delay" How do you time the outcome of scientific data unless released??
Don't announce now IMU - Wait a few months then pounce - Patience is a virtue
